The story of how Georgie beat off competition from 2,000 hopefuls to land her role in the Disney-backed spectacular is the stuff Hollywood legends are made of.
Her drama club mentor Gill Jackson, heard by chance that producers were looking for youngsters to appear in the Narnia film, and got in touch with casting director Pippa Hall. Gill persuaded Pippa to come up to Yorkshire to see some of her girls strutting their stuff, and Georgie later got a phone call asking her to go down to London for a second audition.
During her first audition, they had asked her some interesting and strange questions. One was "Who would you eat if you and your family were stuck on a desert island?" Georgie was insistant that she would eat her sister first, and then when into detail of how!
Georgie was later cast as Lucy Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
